Cloud Hosting - Standard plans enable you to purchase pools of resources, share them among your servers, and prioritize their access to those resources. With our Cloud Hosting plans, you can let your servers share excess RAM and CPU, giving you the flexibility of provisioning much larger servers.

Configure your servers with between 1 and 8 2.53 Ghz virtual CPUs, shared on hosts operating, on average, below 30% CPU utilization. Provision VMs with up to 16 GB of RAM. Other features include: Virtual KVM, Virtual CD/DVD & Floppy, and Virtual Power Buttons. These features let you stay in control just like you were sitting in front of a physical server.

With Infinitely Virtual’s Cloud Server, you are always protected. Our revolutionary Enterprise Virtualization Environment (E.V.E.)^TM, with features like a clustered NetApp SAN with RAID-DP, VMware HA clustering, and clustered enterprise firewalls, guarantees 100% uptime. Basic Options

CPU Reserved: Share up to 150 Ghz processing power among your servers in 1 Ghz increments for just $14.99/Ghz.
Defines the amount of processing power reserved for your environment, and unavailable to any other customers.

RAM Reserved: Reserve up to 50 GB RAM for your servers in 1 GB increments for just $19.99/GB.
Defines the amount of processing RAM reserved for your environment, and unavailable to any other customers. You may provision servers with as much as double your reserved RAM.

Storage: Share up to 5 TB storage among your servers in 10 GB increments for just $1/GB.
Defines the amount of total disk space your servers may consume.

Bandwidth: Share up to 20 TB monthly data transfer among your servers in 1 TB increments for just $29.99/TB.
Defines the amount of monthly data transfer to and from the Internet in any calendar month. In multiserver configurations, data transferred between servers are not considered part of this monthly data transfer.

Technology - Cloud Hosting - Standard

Basic Building Block
The basic building block of every plan is our revolutionary VMware based Virtual Dedicated Server (VDS) running on our exclusive Enterprise Virtualization Environment (E.V.E.)^TM. Our Virtual Dedicated Servers are unique in that they are both virtual, consuming shared resources across our massive E.V.E., and dedicated, giving customers complete control over the operating system. Our Cloud Hosting plans enable you to economically share resources among your Virtual Dedicated Servers.

What is our Cloud Hosting - Standard plan?
Cloud Hosting - Standard plans enable you to create pools of overcommitted resources, share them among your servers, and prioritize their access to those pools. Following is an example comparing 5 Platinum VDS plans to a custom Cloud Hosting - Standard plan:

Platinum Plans 5 servers 10x 2.53 Ghz cores 10 GB RAM allocated 10 GB RAM reserved $409.95

Custom Cloud 5 servers 20x 2.53 Ghz cores 16 GB RAM allocated 8 GB RAM reserved $409.91

In this example, the Platinum Plan servers are each limited to 2 GB RAM and 2x 2.53 Ghz cores. It is likely that one or more of these servers will consume all available resources, while simultaneously the other four servers will be near idle. That is a pretty inefficient use of resources.

Compare that to the custom cloud configuration: five servers, each with 4x 2.53 Ghz cores and a total of 16 GB RAM allocated to the servers. In this example, let's say 3 GB in four of the servers and 4 GB in the fifth. The aggregate RAM consumption of all the servers can go up to 8 GB of RAM, meaning that at any given point in time, individual servers can consume far more than the 2 GB they would have been allocated in the Platinum Plan example.

Distributed Resource Scheduling
Once you have all of your servers sharing overcommitted resources, you may want to prioritize your servers' access to those resources. That is where DRS comes in. With Distributed Resource Scheduling, you will have the ability to reserve resources for individual servers or pools of servers or set scheduling priority for individual servers or pools of servers. Better than Dedicated Server Access with vCloud Director
With our vCloud Director enabled plans, interact with your Virtual Dedicated Server from Infinitely Virtual like you were sitting in front of your server. A serious limitation of dedicated servers is that you cannot see the console, insert a CD in the drive or power cycle the server without remote hands. Until now, these were limitations that customers had to tolerate to get the performance their applications required. Our VDS plans feature:

• Virtual KVM
• Virtual CD/DVD & FLoppy
• Virtual Power Button

With these unique features, you can interact with your server whether or not the operating system is running. If you accidentally lock yourself out of VNC or remote desktop by modifying the firewall settings, you can easily connect to our Virtual KVM and let yourself back in. If you want to insert a CD, DVD or floppy, just access our Virtual CD/DVD & Floppy feature. And if for any reason the server won't restart gracefully, just power it down and back up with our Virtual Power Buttons.

Serious Data Protection
We take data protection seriously. Every plan includes our unique data protection feature. Every server in our environment is backed up nightly by taking a point-in-time snapshot of the entire datastore. Unlike our competitors who take crash-consistent snapshots of their customers' servers, we take application-consistent snapshots. We retain daily backups for 7 days and weekly backups for 4 weeks.

Our Process:

• Instruct the VSS aware applications on each VM to quiesce all transactions, including:
  • Exchange Server
  • Microsoft SQL Server
• Instruct the VM to quiesce all disk transactions, creating a VM level snapshot
• Take snapshot of underlying datastore
• Delete VM level snapshot

Free SNMP Monitoring
To ensure the best possible performance, we give our customers free SNMP monitoring. Every server in our environment is monitored by our enterprise NMS. We constantly monitor CPU usage, RAM usage and disk usage, and if your server exceeds our norms, we notify you so you can take corrective action.
