We combine our Virtual Terminal Server plan with our Dedicated Exchange Hosting plan to give you the Virtual Office Network – Standard+ package. We provide you with a four server system installed on a private VLAN and protected by clustered Juniper firewalls. Our Virtual Terminal Server includes a Cloud Server, pre-installed with Windows 2003 or 2008, and pre-configured as a remote desktop session host. Multiple simultaneous users can access their Microsoft Exchange email, applications and data anytime, anywhere with free Remote Desktop Connection software.

Basic Options

VON Users: support up to 100 users for just $14.99/month per user.
VON Standard+ is a multi-user plan that includes a dedicated Exchange Server, and it allows application and data sharing. Each plan is licensed for a specific number Microsoft Remote Desktop and Exchange Server users. Licensing is not based on concurrent users - each user account requires a VON license.

VTS RAM: provision up to 32 GB of RAM to any server in 128 MB increments for just $2.99/month.
The Virtual Terminal Server in each plan comes standard with a specific amount of RAM dedicated to that server. In many cases RAM is the component that most affects performance. When servers have less memory than is required to execute operating system and application instructions, that information is instead stored in a pagefile or swap partition. This paging is what leads to poor performance. To avoid this, ensure you have enough RAM for your application. If you are not sure how much to get, don't worry. You can always add RAM to your server; upgrades require just a server reboot.

Active Directory and Exchange Servers are allocated RAM on an as needed basis, and there is no additional cost for this.

VTS CPU Cores: provision up to 12x 2.53 Ghz cores to any server in 1 core increments for just $7.99/month.
Each Virtual Terminal Server is provisioned with a specific number of 2.53 Ghz cpu cores. These are the servers' processors. Depending on the operating system, these cores may be configured as multiple single-core processors or single processors with multiple cores. CPUs, after RAM, are the next most important component to performance. You may add cores to your server at any time. Core upgrades require just a reboot.

Active Directory and Exchange Servers are allocated CPU cores on an as needed basis, and there is no additional cost for this.

VTS Boot Disk: provision terminal server with up to a 500 GB boot disk (15k FC/SAS) in 1 GB increments for just $1.00/month.
A boot disk is the first virtual hard drive in a virtual server. It stores the operating system and all applications for the server. It is critical that the hard drive is large enough for all of your applications and data. If available disk space runs below 20%, it is likely that server performance will suffer. You may add disk space to a server's boot disk any time, in some cases without needing to even restart the server. All boot disks are high-performance Fibre-Channel or SAS 15k RPM based storage. Price includes both local and offsite backup.

Mail Storage: configure your Exchange server with up to 2 TB mail storage in 1 GB increments for just $1.00/month.
Each VON Standard+ hosting plan is configured with a pool of storage that is shared among all email users. You may configure mail quotas for individual mailboxes or you can just let everyone consume as much storage as they need. Add storage to this plan any time. Price includes both local and offsite backup.

SATA Disk: add low-cost storage to your plan, up to 2 TB, in 10 GB increments for just $3.00/month
SATA Disk is added to a server as a separate virtual hard drive based on 7.2k RPM SATA storage. Price includes both local and offsite backup.

Secure Internet File Server (WebDAV): $4.99/month
Turn your server into a Secure Internet File Server using WebDAV. WebDAV is a protocol that enables you to open and save files directly to your server overt the Internet. When you select this option, we enable WebDAV on your server and set up a share. You can create as many shares as you like and manage access with file system permissions.

Access to Network Performance Monitor: $4.99/month
Purchase this option and gain access to our NPM. View current and historical resource utilization. See events, alerts and availability reports for all of your nodes. Customers with multiple servers and plans can purchase this on just one plan and gain access to all of the servers in your account.

PPTP VPN (100 Users): $4.99/month
With our PPTP VPN option, you can simply connect using Microsoft Window's built in VPN software, open, modify and save files using applications on any Internet connected computer.

Single Sign-On Active Directory Integration: $24.99/month
Our exclusive Single Sign-On Active Directory Integration allows your Virtual Office Network to integrate with the network at your office. When you login to your Windows network at the office, you will be authenticated to your email system as well. All network resources can be managed by the same Active Directory.

InfiniteApp Options

InfiniteApp Users: $5.99/month per server

InfiniteApp requires software to be installed called a connection broker. On smaller implementations, it is possible to install this on your Terminal Server. Larger deployments require at least 1 dedicated connection broker. You may select up to three connection brokers for redundancy and performance.

Bandwidth: allocate up to 4 TB monthly data transfer in 500 GB increments for just $14.99/month.
Bandwidth or monthly data transfer is the amount of data transferred to or from the Internet in any calendar month. Each plan comes with a specific amount of bandwidth - some unlimited. In multiserver configurations, data transferred between servers are not considered part of this monthly data transfer.

Microsoft Outlook Licenses: add Outlook licenses to those plans that don't include it for just $1.99/month per user.
Microsoft Outlook Licensing varies by plan. We currently offer customers the choice between Microsoft Outlook 2003, 2007 or 2010.

Microsoft Outlook, formerly Microsoft Office Outlook, is a personal information manager from Microsoft. The 2007 version is available both as a separate application as well as a part of the Microsoft Office suite. The current version is Microsoft Office Outlook 2007 for Windows; on April 15, 2010 Microsoft approved the RTM of Microsoft Outlook 2010. Although often used mainly as an e-mail application, it also includes a Calendar, Task Manager, Contact Manager, note taking, a journal and web browsing.

It can be used as a stand-alone application, or can work with Microsoft Exchange Server and Microsoft Office SharePoint Server for multiple users in an organization, such as shared mailboxes and calendars, Exchange public folders, SharePoint lists and meeting schedules. There are third-party add-on applications that integrate Outlook with devices such as BlackBerry mobile phones and with other software like Office & Skype internet communication. Developers can also create their own custom software that works with Outlook and Office components using Microsoft Visual Studio. In addition, Windows Mobile devices can synchronize almost all Outlook data to Outlook Mobile.

BlackBerry Users: activate your BlackBerry on a BlackBerry Enterprise Server for just $9.95/month per blackBerry.

BlackBerry Enterprise Server (BES) is the name of the middleware software package that is part of the BlackBerry wireless platform from Research In Motion. The software and service connects to messaging and collaboration software (Microsoft Exchange, Lotus Domino, Novell GroupWise) on enterprise networks and redirects emails and synchronize contacts and calendaring information between servers, desktop workstations, and mobile devices.

Technology - Virtual Office Network - Standard+

Basic Building Block
The basic building block of every plan is our revolutionary VMware based Virtual Dedicated Server (VDS) running on our exclusive Enterprise Virtualization Environment (E.V.E.)^TM. Our Virtual Dedicated Servers are unique in that they are both virtual, consuming shared resources across our massive E.V.E., and dedicated, giving customers complete control over the operating system. Our Virtual Office Network plans enable you to install any feature of Windows and install any supported application.

What is the VON Standard+ Plan?
At it's core, our Virtual Office Network - Standard+ plan is the combination of our Dedicated Exchange Hosting plan and our Virtual Terminal Server plan. It is a four server system with redundant Active Directory Controllers, a Virtual Dedicated Exchange Server and a Virtual Terminal Server, installed in a private VLAN and protected by our vShield firewall.

Enables Application Sharing: Virtual Terminal Server
Infinitely Virtual's VON Standard+ plan includes a Virtual Terminal Server, which is a Windows Virtual Dedicated Server with Remote Desktop Session Host enabled. It includes all the Microsoft licensing necessary to host applications accessible to multiple simultaneous users. Every server has a virtual CPU, virtual RAM, virtual system board and bios, virtual network interface card, and virtual hard drives. We install Windows 2003 or Windows 2008 on this virtual hardware, and we give you access to the administrator account. With this, you can modify the installation of Windows in any way you require, install any software, and manage the server just like you purchased it directly from HP or Dell.

How Do I Access Applications on a Virtual Terminal Server?
By default our VTS plans are configured for you to access them using free software that is included in every Windows operating system since Windows 98 called Remote Desktop Connection. Simply open Remote Desktop Connection and provide the IP address of your server, and you will see the desktop of your VTS. From there you can run any application just like you were running it from your own PC. Remote Desktop Connection is available for both Macintosh and Linux computers. Optionally, you can access your applications through a web browser; just enable Remote Desktop Web Access. Support for thin clients is included.

Dedicated Server Performance
Infinitely Virtual Virtual Dedicated Servers feature the industry's highest performance. Every server has between 1 and 8 2.53 Ghz virtual CPUs, shared on hosts operating, on average, below 30% CPU utilization. This means that an any given point in time, your server will have the ability to utilize all 2.53 Ghz of your CPU cores. We ensure that every server is backed by 100% of the RAM included in their plan, up to 16 GB. Servers are connected to our virtual switch infrastructure at 1 Gbps, and Internet connectivity is 100 Mbps. Most importantly, our servers are stored on our NetApp SAN with 15k fibre-channel disks, ensuring the highest disk performance in the industry.

Infinitely Scalable Servers
One of the unique advantages of Virtual Dedicated Servers vis-à-vis dedicated servers is their ability to be upgraded in very small increments without having to reinstall the server's operating system or applications. We offer our customers the ability to upgrade any aspect of their server in tiny increments.

Better than Dedicated Server Access with vCloud Director
With our vCloud Director enabled plans, interact with your Virtual Dedicated Server from Infinitely Virtual like you were sitting in front of your server. A serious limitation of dedicated servers is that you cannot see the console, insert a CD in the drive or power cycle the server without remote hands. Until now, these were limitations that customers had to tolerate to get the performance their applications required. Our VDS plans feature:

• Virtual Power Button

With these unique features, you can interact with your server whether or not the operating system is running. If you accidentally lock yourself out of VNC or remote desktop by modifying the firewall settings, you can easily connect to our Virtual KVM and let yourself back in. If you want to insert a CD, DVD or floppy, just access our Virtual CD/DVD & Floppy feature. And if for any reason the server won't restart gracefully, just power it down and back up with our Virtual Power Buttons.

Serious Data Protection
We take data protection seriously. Every plan includes our unique data protection feature. Every server in our environment is backed up nightly by taking a point-in-time snapshot of the entire datastore. Unlike our competitors who take crash-consistent snapshots of their customers' servers, we take application-consistent snapshots. We retain daily backups for 7 days and weekly backups for 4 weeks.

Our Process:

• Instruct the VSS aware applications on each VM to quiesce all transactions, including:
  • Exchange Server
  • Microsoft SQL Server
• Instruct the VM to quiesce all disk transactions, creating a VM level snapshot
• Take snapshot of underlying datastore
• Delete VM level snapshot

Free SNMP Monitoring
To ensure the best possible performance, we give our customers free SNMP monitoring. Every server in our environment is monitored by our enterprise NMS. We constantly monitor CPU usage, RAM usage and disk usage, and if your server exceeds our norms, we notify you so you can take corrective action.
