A Windows Cloud Server comes with your choice of Windows 2003 or Windows 2008 preinstalled. Basic Options

RAM: provision up to 32 GB of RAM to any server in 128 MB increments for just $2.99/month.
Server plans each come standard with a specific amount of RAM dedicated to that server. In many cases RAM is the component that most affects performance. When servers have less memory than is required to execute operating system and application instructions, that information is instead stored in a pagefile or swap partition. This paging is what leads to poor performance. To avoid this, ensure you have enough RAM for your application. If you are not sure how much to get, don't worry. You can always add RAM to your server; upgrades require just a server reboot.

CPU Cores: provision up to 12x 2.53 Ghz cores to any server in 1 core increments for just $7.99/month.
Each Cloud Server is provisioned with a specific number of 2.53 Ghz cpu cores. These are the servers' processors. Depending on the operating system, these cores may be configured as multiple single-core processors or single processors with multiple cores. CPUs, after RAM, are the next most important component to performance. You may add cores to your server at any time. Core upgrades require just a reboot.

Boot Disk: provision servers with up to a 500 GB boot disk (15k FC/SAS) in 1 GB increments for just $1.00/month.
A boot disk is the first virtual hard drive in a virtual server. It stores the operating system and all applications for the server. It is critical that the hard drive is large enough for all of your applications and data. If available disk space runs below 20%, it is likely that server performance will suffer. You may add disk space to a server's boot disk any time, in some cases without needing to even restart the server. All boot disks are high-performance Fibre-Channel or SAS 15k RPM based storage. Price includes both local and offsite backup.

SATA Disk: add low-cost storage to your server, up to 2 TB, in 10 GB increments for just $3.00/month
SATA Disk is added to a server as a separate virtual hard drive based on 7.2k RPM SATA storage. Price includes both local and offsite backup.

IP Addresses: provision servers with up to 5 IP addresses for just $1.00/month.
While one IP address is generally enough for most applications, there are times that you may need to have more. The most common reason for needing multiple IP addresses is SSL certificates for multiple domains. Additional IP addresses are available subject to approval.

Bandwidth: allocate up to 4 TB monthly data transfer in 500 GB increments for just $14.99/month.
Bandwidth or monthly data transfer is the amount of data transferred to or from the Internet in any calendar month. Each plan comes with a specific amount of bandwidth - some unlimited. In multi-server configurations, data transferred between servers are not considered part of this monthly data transfer.

Additional Disk Options

2nd, 3rd and 4th Disks: provision servers with up to 4x 500 GB disks in 1 GB increments for just $1.00/month.
Add up to 3 virtual hard drives to any plan. While this is not necessary for many configurations, specific applications benefit a great deal from having multiple disks. In most cases non-boot disks can be increased in size without any disruption in service.

IIS / SQL / SharePoint Options

Our goal is to deliver you a Cloud Server that matches your requirements exactly. For this reason, you may choose to among the following options:

• Do not install IIS or SQL
  • if you do not intend to use this server as either an web server or sql server, we will install a base image of Windows without either Internet Information Services or any version SQL Server
• Install IIS / Do not install SQL
  • If you plan to use the server as a web server, but you don't intend to use SQL, this option may be the best. We will install and configure Internet Information Services without installing any version of SQL.
• Microsoft SQL Server 2005 Express Edition (32 Bit)
  • We install both IIS and Microsoft SQL Server 2005 Express Edition (32 Bit)
  • This version of SQL is only supported on 32 bit versions of Windows Server
  • This is the only Microsoft SQL edition available for servers with less than 512 MB RAM and a 20 GB boot disk
  • SQL Server 2005 Express Edition requires the installation of Internet Information Services
  • Utilizes no more than 1 CPU and 1 GB RAM
  • Maximum database size is 4 GB

Email Options

Install hMail
hMailServer is a free email server for Microsoft Windows. It's used by Internet service providers, companies, governments, schools and enthusiasts in all parts of the world. It supports the common email protocols (IMAP, SMTP and POP3) and can easily be integrated with many existing web mail systems. It has flexible score-based spam protection and can attach to your virus scanner to scan all incoming and outgoing email.

Firewall Options

Operating System Firewall Only: Included
This option offers no additional protection beyond what is provided by the server's operating system firewall. Linux and Windows both come with a built-in firewall.

Self-Managed vShield Firewall: $2.99/month
Infinitely Virtual offers a unique feature: Self-Managed vShield Firewall. Customers are permitted to managed the firewall and nat rules on their virtual firewall. Additional features include:

• Manage incoming and outgoing firewall policies
• Manage Port Address Translation
• Manage Network Address Translation
• Configure and Manage Network Load Balancing
• Configure and Manage IPSec Site-to-Site VPNs

Managed Stateful Packet Inspection Firewall: $4.99/month
We offer a managed Stateful Packet Inspection Firewall option to our customers. The option is bundled with various plans.

A stateful firewall (any firewall that performs stateful packet inspection (SPI) or stateful inspection) is a firewall that keeps track of the state of network connections (such as TCP streams, UDP communication) travelling across it. The firewall is programmed to distinguish legitimate packets for different types of connections. Only packets matching a known connection state will be allowed by the firewall; others will be rejected.

Our managed firewall option is managed solely by our support staff. Request all changes by submitting a support case.

McAfee Endpoint Protection: $2.99/month
McAfee SaaS Endpoint Protection Suite (formerly Total Protection Service) delivers essential protection from viruses, spyware, web threats, and hacker attacks. SaaS Endpoint Protection Suite automates your online defenses, lowers costs, and streamlines security deployments, updates, upgrades, and management — all through the online McAfee SecurityCenter.

SSL Certificate: $3.99/month
Get a SSL Certificate for your virtual server for just $3.99/month. Infinitely Virtual will install and manage a certificate for your plan, ensuring secure access to your server over RDP or HTTPS.

Secure Internet File Server (WebDAV): $4.99/month
Turn your server into a Secure Internet File Server using WebDAV. WebDAV is a protocol that enables you to open and save files directly to your server overt the Internet. When you select this option, we enable WebDAV on your server and set up a share. You can create as many shares as you like and manage access with file system permissions.

Access to Network Performance Monitor: $4.99/month
Purchase this option and gain access to our NPM. View current and historical resource utilization. See events, alerts and availability reports for all of your nodes. Customers with multiple servers and plans can purchase this on just one plan and gain access to all of the servers in your account.

PPTP VPN (100 Users): $4.99/month
With our PPTP VPN option, you can simply connect using Microsoft Window's built in VPN software, open, modify and save files using applications on any Internet connected computer.

Managed Site-to-Site IPSec VPN: $24.99/month
This unique feature allows us to place your virtual servers inside your office network.

Why Windows Virtual Dedicated Server instead of VPS?
Every server has a virtual CPU, virtual RAM, virtual system board and bios, virtual network interface card, and virtual hard drives. We install Windows 2003 or Windows 2008 on this virtual hardware, and we give you access to the administrator account. With this, you can modify the installation of Windows in any way you require, install any software, and manage the server just like you purchased it directly from HP or Dell.

Dedicated Server Performance
Infinitely Virtual VDS plans feature the industry's highest performance. Every server has between 1 and 8 2.53 Ghz virtual CPUs, shared on hosts operating, on average, below 30% CPU utilization. This means that an any given point in time, your server will have the ability to utilize all 2.53 Ghz of your CPU cores. Better than Dedicated Server Access with vCloud Director
With our vCloud Director enabled plans, interact with your Virtual Dedicated Server from Infinitely Virtual like you were sitting in front of your server. A serious limitation of dedicated servers is that you cannot see the console, insert a CD in the drive or power cycle the server without remote hands. Until now, these were limitations that customers had to tolerate to get the performance their applications required. Our VDS plans feature:

With these unique features, you can interact with your server whether or not the operating system is running. If you accidentally lock yourself out of VNC or remote desktop by modifying the firewall settings, you can easily connect to our Virtual KVM and let yourself back in. And if for any reason the server won't restart gracefully, just power it down and back up with our Virtual Power Buttons.

Serious Data Protection
We take data protection seriously. Every plan includes our unique data protection feature. Every server in our environment is backed up nightly by taking a point-in-time snapshot of the entire datastore. Unlike our competitors who take crash-consistent snapshots of their customers' servers, we take application-consistent snapshots. We retain daily backups for 7 days and weekly backups for 4 weeks.

Our Process:

• Instruct the VSS aware applications on each VM to quiesce all transactions, including:
  • Exchange Server
  • Microsoft SQL Server
• Instruct the VM to quiesce all disk transactions, creating a VM level snapshot
• Take snapshot of underlying datastore
• Delete VM level snapshot

Free SNMP Monitoring
To ensure the best possible performance, we give our customers free SNMP monitoring. Every server in our environment is monitored by our enterprise NMS. We constantly monitor CPU usage, RAM usage and disk usage, and if your server exceeds our norms, we notify you so you can take corrective action.
