Infinitely Virtual Continues Robust Growth; 2012 Revenue Jumps by 70 Percent

Virtualization Specialist Anticipates Expansion at 50 Percent in 2013, Sustaining Momentum for Third Year Running

SANTA MONICA, Calif. (February 20, 2013) – Infinitely Virtual, a leading provider of virtual server cloud computing services, today announced that 2012 was a banner year for the company, with revenue up by more than 70 percent. At the same time, the company said it expects to grow by more than 50 percent during the current calendar year.

For Infinitely Virtual, the refrain is a familiar one. The company doubled in revenue from 2010 to 2011, with a return on investment of roughly 33 percent.

“Our success is largely based on our ability to understand and address the needs of small and midsize businesses,” said Adam Stern, CEO, Infinitely Virtual. “Our clients fervently want to virtualize their businesses because they recognize that migrating to the cloud means boosting productivity, cutting costs and creating a more efficient organization. We strive to be the technology provider who ‘gets’ them, who understands where they need to be, and who offers a line of differentiated, pre-packaged products.”

Earlier this year, the company announced the phased move of its backup data center from San Diego to Boston. The move, a key part of the company’s 2013 business strategy, will occur in stages throughout the first half of the year.

Within the last six months, Infinitely Virtual has taken a series of steps designed to attract small and midsize businesses to cloud hosting. During the summer, the company unveiled an innovative “onboarding” service, aimed at eliminating the fear factor from the cloud migration process. The service, which consists of a free, one-hour tutorial on hosting in the cloud, enables new customers to ask virtually any question of a live company representative and get the relationship off on a sound, secure footing.

In keeping with its focus on the SMB segment , Infinitely Virtual has become a leading Intuit-authorized vendor, offering a hosted version of the popular QuickBooks application. The company has also unbundled its hosted, licensed Microsoft Office suite products, to enable customers to choose those products they need, at a per product price. And placing threat protection under one roof, the company has teamed with McAfee to offer its SaaS Endpoint Protection Suite and SaaS Email Protection, a comprehensive hosted solution offering endpoint, email, Internet and network protection.
