Infinitely Virtual Adds Virtual Server Capacity by Doubling Hosting Space

LOS ANGELES–June 21, 2010– Infinitely Virtual, a provider of high quality and affordable virtual server technology, is growing again, this time doubling the square footage in its primary hosting facility and moving its secondary facility to an SAS 70 Type II-compliant data center in San Diego.

Hosting space in the Wilshire Annex in Los Angeles has doubled. Located at 900 N. Alameda and owned by CoreSite (formerly CRG West), the facility is a premiere connectivity building and world-class data center, ideal for supporting customers’ mission-critical IT equipment for global entertainment, gaming, and enterprise growth. The facility is powered by more than 40 megawatts, commensurate with the world’s premier data centers. With a load capacity exceeding minimum Seismic Zone 4 and Site Coefficient requirements, SAS 70 Type II certification, 24×7 manned security and biometric scanners, the data center is secure from earthquakes and unauthorized entry. For disaster recovery, the facility has 8 2+ megawatt diesel generators, a 15,000-gallon diesel fuel supply, and redundant UPS systems.

Infinitely Virtual’s connection to a new secondary facility at the Lightwave Data Center (LWDC) via protected SONET ring was completed successfully without customer impact. The 80,000 square foot American Internet Services data center features more than 12 megawatts of power, N+1 / 2N or better redundancy on all data center systems and 24×7 onsite support. Physical security includes cameras, biometric scanners, and interior card access. Disaster recovery is supported by a minimum 24-hour run-time fuel capacity onsite and multiple fuel providers with low response times.

“As Infinitely Virtual grows, we continue to make massive investments in our hosting infrastructure. The move of our secondary facility to the Lightwave Data Center, with its multi-gigabit connectivity to the Wilshire Annex, will enable us to accommodate our explosive growth and accelerate the release of new, exciting products,” says Adam Stern, President and CEO of Infinitely Virtual and Altay Corporation.
